The DANDRITE SAB & Retreat brings together our Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), researchers, staff, and students for days dedicated to scientific exchange, constructive feedback, and community building. The SAB is a friendly and supportive advisory body whose purpose is to provide scientific input and guidance to our group leaders on their research programmes, as well as overall strategic advice to the DANDRITE leadership.
To fulfil this role, it is essential that the SAB gains insight into both the breadth and depth of DANDRITE’s research activities and the character of our community.
The event combines the SAB’s evaluation of DANDRITE’s research and organizational strategy with a retreat programme designed to strengthen collaboration, spark new ideas, and support well‑being across the centre.
Participants will engage in scientific presentations, discussions, networking activities, and shared sessions that highlight who we are as a research environment and where we are heading. The retreat aims to support strong neuroscience activities at DANDRITE by fostering interaction, creativity, and a vibrant, inclusive community.
Following the event, the SAB will provide feedback in a report to the DANDRITE management. DANDRITE Director Poul Henning Jensen will share the key points with the community at the next DCM after the SAB & Retreat.
This meeting is for all who fall into the category of a Early‑Career Researcher (ECR), such as PhD students, Research Assistants, Master’s students, Bachelor’s students, and interns. If in doubt, contact asmu@dandrite.au.dk
This meeting is for the group of Postdocs, Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and other more senior researchers who are not Principal Investigators.
In preparation of the SAB & Retreat, the Postdoc representative will collect input from the group. More info will come closer to the event.
