Session 1: Welcome & plenary lectures

8:30       Welcome to retreat programme by Duda Kvitsiani

8:45       Plenary lecture by Carl Petersen (Professor at the Brain Mind Institute,
               Laboratory of Sensory Processing, EPFL-SV-BMI-LSENS, Switzerland)

               “Sensorimotor integration”

9:30       Plenary lecture by James McGaugh (Professor of Neurobiology and Behavior,
               Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory, University of California)
               “Modulation of Memory Consolidation: Roles of stress hormones and amygdala
               activation”

10:15     Break with coffee

 

Session 2: Elevator talks and retreat challenge


10:55     Introduction to competition for Student generated collaborative project
               proposals (Poul Henning Jensen)

11:00    Elevator talks PhD students & postdocs (2.5 min. each)

12:30     Lunch buffet


13:30    Retreat challenge (team building to be organized by The PhD&Postdoc association "Young DANDRITEs")

15:30     Break with coffee & refreshments

15:50 - 18:00     Closed session for laboratory technicians

 

Session 3: More learning & center presentation
