Andreas is a Master’s Student in neuroscience from the University of Copenhagen. He will be joining Sadegh Nabavi’s group, and, under the supervision of Noëmie Mermet-Joret, he will write his thesis as part of a research project studying the neuronal circuits in the amygdala that mediate innate and learned fears. He is looking forward to joining the group and this exciting project.
Bernadett is a Master's Student in Bioinformatics at AU. She completed her bachelor in Molecular Bionics Engineering in Hungary in 2021 and came to Aarhus to get her Master's. "I always had an interest in neuroscience so after the first semester I applied to Jelena’s group. I am doing behavioural experiments and I will do the analysis part as well." Bernadetts plan is to write her master thesis with the Radulovic laboratory.
Neuroscience Academy Denmark (NAD) will recruit 16 excellent, highly motivated PhD Fellows to join a newly established neuroscience academy and PhD program to be launched the 1st of January 2023. The candidates should be 16 talented students eager to pursue a career in basic or clinical neuroscience research, and with the ambition to excel.
Application deadline is 22 August 2022.
Audrey will be working within the fields of immunology, neuroscience and gut microbiota, with the aim of investigating how the residing gut microbiota and/or induced intestinal inflammation affect the enteric nervous system in models of ASD. She will be exploring how the immune response is modulated by gut microbiota, and how specific immune cells are mobilized during enteric infection and/or neuronal lesions using e.g. in vivo imaging techniques. Welcome Audrey!
Elham Shojaeinia is a PhD student in the Esguerra group at NCMM. She recently visited DANDRITE to learn in depth about the principles of neural organization and apply that to what she observes in her zebrafish research.
