Welcome to new guest researcher Mariana Kuznietsova in Poul Nissen’s group

Mariana Kuznietsova is new guest researcher in Poul Nissen’s group, where she will join the team working with studies of insulin receptor signaling and modulation by antagonist and agonists. Using also her recent experience from LLC Chemlaborreactiv in Kyiv and from her PhD project on insulin receptor modulators from plant, Mariana will be involved in insulin receptor purification and biochemical assays addressing the effect of co-receptors and tyrosine kinase inhibitors. The research plan includes aims of identifying well-characterized samples that can be subject to cryo-EM studies.
