The International Staff Office Christmas Hygge 2025
The International Staff Office warmly welcomes all AU staff and their accompanying families to an afternoon of Danish Christmas hygge. Hygge is that special Danish feeling of coziness, warmth, and togetherness— it's a feeling that can't be explained but needs to be experienced! Therefore, we hope you will join us for a festive afternoon filled with traditional Danish Christmas activities, Christmas treats, and a hyggelig atmosphere.

We will be playing the classic Danish Christmas game 'pakkeleg'—a fast-paced, laugh-filled tradition where wrapped gifts fly across the table. Therefore, please bring one small wrapped gift per person (max value: 20 DKK), and get ready to join the fun.
At the international Staff Office we embrace all different cultures and beliefs. Even if you do not follow the religious aspects of Christmas, this is an event just as much about socialising and having a lovely time with AU colleauges as it is about the religious holiday itself.
