Taro Kitazawa awarded grant from new Novo Nordisk infrastructure programme

For the first time, the Novo Nordisk Foundation is awarding grants to two new programmes that support research infrastructure. Among the awardees is Group Leader Taro Kitazawa.

The Equipment Upgrade Programme and The Exploratory Research Instrumentation Programme are the title of two new research grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation to support and strengthen the research infrastructure in Denmark. 

Among the 15 projects awarded a grant is DANDRITE Group Leader Taro Kitazawa. He receives DKK 2,5 mill. for his project titled "Genomics Toolbox for Tracing Neuronal Fate and Disease Progression". This exploratory instrumentation project aims to establish molecular toolboxes to implement our new history-tracing genomics technology into various experimental model systems.
