Did you know that the local municipal elections are coming up? And you may be eligible to vote! On November 18th we will go to the polls to vote for who will represent us, the citizens of Aarhus, in the city council – and of course, who will be our next Mayor.

If you are an EU citizen, a citizen of Iceland, Norway, or the United Kingdom - or if you have lived in Denmark for more than four consecutive years, you can vote.
Yet, many are not aware of this important opportunity to take part in local democracy.
That is why International Community and Erhverv Aarhus warmly invite you to a special election debate - in English.
This is your chance to learn more about the election, ask questions, and better understand the choices on the ballot.
Whether you have just arrived in Aarhus or have lived here for many years – your vote matters, and this debate will help you make it count.
The debate will give you the opportunity to:
- Learn how you can cast your vote in the municipal elections on 18 November 2025
- Make your voice heard and meet candidates from 7 different political parties in Aarhus
- Gain insights into the candidates’ positions on key issues that shape everyday life in the city
The debate will be moderated by Radu Dalidis, General Manager, The Nordic Crew, and will focus on issues that matter both to Aarhus residents in general and to international citizens in particular.
