Congratulations to Dr. Sara ElFarrash for earning a double PhD degree

Dr. Sara ElFarrash defended on March 25th her phd thesis “Alpha-synuclein and Parkinson’s disease: A target for future neuroprotective therapy” at Mansoura University. She earns a double phd degree with recognition from both Mansoura and Aarhus University, where Assoc. professor Peter Bross was the faculty representative from Health at Aarhus University. The experimental work for the thesis was conducted in the Jensen lab from 2016-2019 and recently published in Acta Neuropathologica Reports. The defense was conducted online with due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
