Welcome to Leonardo Mani who is new Erasmus Intern in Nabavi Group per 1 September

Leonardo will be under supervision of Andrea Moreno and help her with different tasks. He will be involved in a project that aims to investigate the underlying molecular and synaptic mechanisms of forgetting. In the project, several techniques are involved i.e., in vivo electrophysiology in both anaesthetised and freely moving mice, optogenetic activation and neuronal tagging, behavioural tests of aversive conditioning, brain histology for viral expression and electrode placement, pharmacology.
