Welcome to Audrey Andersen-Civil, new Postdoc in Vanwalleghem Group

Audrey will be working within the fields of immunology, neuroscience and gut microbiota, with the aim of investigating how the residing gut microbiota and/or induced intestinal inflammation affect the enteric nervous system in models of ASD. She will be exploring how the immune response is modulated by gut microbiota, and how specific immune cells are mobilized during enteric infection and/or neuronal lesions using e.g. in vivo imaging techniques.
