KOR – the coordinating body for register-based research – now offers free one-day courses in the safe use of registry data and GDPR on 9, 10 and 11 November from 10:00 to 15:00.

The purpose of the online courses is to give researchers and analysts the competencies to use data in a safe, well-planned and ethically responsible way, which includes complying with the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation.

On the course, you will be taught how to understand the data confidentiality policy of the research service centres at Statistics Denmark and the Danish Health Data Authority, how to understand the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how to access registry data in practice.
