New publication in Nature Scientific Reports by Jensen Lab
The Jensen Lab recently had their study published in Nature Scientific Reports. The article is titled: "Low dose DMSO treatment induces oligomerization and accelerates aggregation of α‑synuclein."
In the paper entitled “Low dose DMSO treatment induces oligomerization and accelerates aggregation of α-synuclein” it is demonstrated that the highly utilized solvent DMSO, even at low concentrations, increase the particle-size of α-synuclein, and thereby induce the formation of α-synuclein aggregates in vitro and in cells. This publication was made in collaboration with scientists from Aarhus University and Lund University.
