New postdoctoral researcher in Poul Nissen's group

Montana Caballero Bermejo started as postdoctoral researcher in Poul Nissen's group, where she will be working for 2 years as postdoc to study the structure and function of PMCA4b, which is an important plasma membrane calcium pump in brain and other tissues. The studies will involve biochemistry, crystallography, and cryo-electron microscopy. Montana comes with her own stipend from the Extremadura regional government in Spain, where she is affiliated the Dept. Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Extremadura.
