In collaboration with researchers from four other institutes, we seek to combine the specificity of different conformation-specific antibodies and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and vaccine generation to generate biosensors that specifically recognize oligomers of alpha-synuclen origin in well-characterized neurodegenerative disease patient cohort samples and vaccines to treat Parkinson’s disease . The OligoFIT project will be coordinated by Professor Martin Bachmann from The Jenner Institute at University of Oxford.
