Kristyna Safrankova continues as PhD Student in Nykjær's Group

As of 1 July, Kristyna will start as PhD Student in Anders Nykjær's Group. Kristyna will be working on a project addressing the role of SorCS1 receptor in neuronal excitability, learning and memory using a novel mouse model of a conditional knockout of Sorcs1 gene restricted to granule cells of the dentate gyrus. She will use various behaviour techniques to characterize the model, in vitro calcium imaging, and a miniscope GRIN lens system.
