Congratulations to Akihiro Matsumoto who has been appointed as Assistant Professor in Yonehara Group

As of 1 October, Akihiro will start as Assistant Professor in Keisuke Yonehara's Group. Akihiro is working on functional roles of glutamatergic transmission in retinal direction selectivity circuit, and in this position, he will work on the concerted mechanism to orchestrate GABAergic, cholinergic, and glutamatergic transmission at the bipolar cell - direction selective cell synapses.
