Prof. Graumann has a broad field of research within radiology, covering, inter alia, cancer, clinical ultrasound and artificial intelligence. Previously, Ole Graumann has for example conducted research into minimally invasive freezing treatment of cancer, and in artificial intelligence for screening for breast cancer or blood clots in the brain.

Ole Graumann’s research is of great importance to patients and healthcare professionals. He has previously been a professor at the University of Southern Denmark, as well as head consultant at the Department of Radiology at Odense University Hospital, and he is pleased to be returning to Aarhus, where he graduated as a medical doctor.

“It’s been a dream for a long time for my wife and me to return home to Aarhus. The professorship and chair is an exciting position involving many new managerial tasks, and I am really looking forward to working in Denmark’s best hospital. My ambition is to establish one of the best working radiological research units in Denmark, and to attract the best people to work there. From the outset, my focus will be on creating a well-functioning cross-disciplinary teamwork in a psychologically secure working environment,” he says.
