Two of Taro Kitazawa's research projects will now be carried out thanks to new grants from the Aarhus University Research Foundation and the Novo Nordisk Foundation, respectively.

The Aarhus University Research Foundation (AUFF) received a total of 135 applications for their NOVA programme, which aims to stimulate courageous and innovative high-quality research projects—particularly those that may face challenges in obtaining alternative funding. Among the grant recipients was Taro Kitazawa, who was awarded 719,706 DKK for his project: "Single-Cell History Tracing in Human iPSC-Derived Neurons for Therapeutic Discovery."

Additionally, under the Project Grants in Bioscience and Basic Biomedicine 2024 call from the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Taro Kitazawa received 3.4 million DKK for his project: "Analysis of Heterochronic Interaction of Multimodal Epigenetic Signatures During Neuronal Maturation."

We wish Taro Kitazawa a huge congratulations on both grants.
