New Research Assistant at Vanwalleghem Team

Alma Grøne Mikkelsen has started as a a research assistant in the Vanwalleghem lab after completing her Master's in Molecular Biology this summer in the same lab. She will work with neuroimmune memory across the Gut-Brain axis in zebrafish. For this, they will use immunofluorescence to visualize and measure brain activity during inflammatory stimuli and try to map and manipulate the neurons involved using optogenetics.
