Muwan Chen prolonged as Assistant Professor

Muwan Chen is an Assistant Professor in Denham Group. Her contract is extended to December 31, 2022. Muwan will continue her work on understanding the molecular mechanisms that are involved in the early disease states of familial forms of Parkinson’s disease, using single-cell sequencing of pluripotent stem cell-derived neurons.

Welcome to Petra Kompaníková who is the new intern in Nykjærs team

Petra will be in Anders Nykjærs lab until the 17 of December. She studies Molecular biology and genetics at Masaryk university in Czech Republic. Petra will be assisting Dr. Alena Salašová in her work on setting up new tools in fish and mice models in order to study the development of dopaminergic circuits.
