Young researcher awarded the Osk. Huttunen PhD-fellowship Grant
Erika Uddström from Chao Sun's group was recently awarded a full PhD fellowship grant by the Finnish Osk. Huttunen Foundation.
The Finnish Osk. Huttunen Foundation offers grants to young Finns for the completion of doctoral studies and postdoctoral research at universities outside Finland.
Among this year's recipients is Erika Uddström, who is currently an Erasmus student in Chao Sun's lab.
With the grant, she now has funding for a full PhD fellowship as part of Chao's group, starting in Spring 2025. Her PhD research will primarily focus on calcium homeostasis at synapses.
