Welcome to Daniel Sejer Christensen, new bachelor student in Poul Nissen Group!

Daniel has started as a bachelor student in the Poul Nissen group, where he will be working together with postdoctoral fellow Ronja Driller. The title of his project is ‘Towards structural and biochemical studies of a polyamine transporter’. Daniel will be working on the vesicular amine transporter SLC18B1, optimizing its purification by exploring various nanodisc-reconstitution methods. Subsequently, purified protein will be utilized for cryo-EM studies. As for now, there are no structures available for this group of polyamine transporters.
