Welcome Sophia - new Erasmus Student in Takeuchi Lab

The primary objective of Sophia's research is to investigate the dynamics of dopamine (DA) release from locus coeruleus (LC) axons in the hippocampus (HPC) using high-resolution imaging techniques. This study aims to elucidate the timing, concentration, and spatial diffusion of DA, which is hypothesized to play a critical role in the physiological functions during cognitive processes such as learning and memory. Sophia will stay in Tomonori's lab from 1 July to 31 August. Welcome Sophia!
