Visiting PhD student in Nissen lab

Welcome to Jędrzej Kukułowicz, who has joined Poul Nissen's lab as a visiting PhD student from Jagiellonian University Medical College in Cracow. Starting September 1st, he will collaborate with Clara Nautrup Pedersen over the next three months, to establish an uptake assay for the neutral amino acid transporter B0AT1, both in liposomes and oocytes. Additionally, they plan to investigate the influence of ions and the accessory protein collectrin on B0AT1 using cryo-EM for structural analysis.
