Why participate?

The Research Support Office (RSO) will present aspects of the different types of ERC grants, what it takes to write an ERC proposal and what kind of support you can get in the process.

The ERC’s mission is to support excellent researchers in investigator-driven frontier research through ground-breaking projects of the highest quality.

  • ERC projects are characterized by their scientific excellence and can be applied for regardless of research field.
  • ERC-funded research does not have to solve predetermined problems.
  • ERC grants can be applied for by independent researchers of any age, career stage, and nationality.

Following the presentations, you'll have the opportunity to speak with our ERC team and ask any individual questions you may have about your funding possibilities or your ideas.

If you're unable to attend the in-person event, we also offer an online information meeting on 21 November. Please note, however, that the online session will focus on general questions, so we encourage you to join the in-person event if you'd like the opportunity to ask individual questions about your own ideas and/or your eligibility.
