Emily Carlsen Pheasant employed as research assistant in Magnus Kjærgaard’s group

Emily Carlsen Pheasant is employed as research assistant from Nov. 1st, 2020, in Magnus Kjærgaards group. Emily will investigate the mechanisms which function in the synaptic targeting and stabilisation of NMDA receptors by studying the protein interactions of the NMDA receptors' C-terminal domains, and their functional consequences. Additionally, she will continue the work of former Postdoc Xavier Warnet and investigate the role of liquid-liquid phase separation in the targeting of synaptic proteins.
