The Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) is an opportunity to attract highly qualified postdocs to AU through EUs flagship funding programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training of researchers. The MSCA PF aim to enhance the career development and training of researchers through international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary mobility. They provide postdocs with the opportunity to acquire new skills and competences and their supervisors with the transfer of new skills and network opportunities.
Eligibility criteria for MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships
- Applicants must have acquired a PhD degree within the last 8 years at the time of the application deadline (11 September 2024). Years of experience outside research and career breaks will not count towards the above maximum, nor will years of experience in research outside EU, for nationals or long-term residents of EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries who wish to reintegrate to Europe.
- Applicants cannot have resided in Denmark for more than 12 months within the last 36 months.
MSCA PF Masterclass
The MSCA PF Masterclass is provided by the Research Support Office (RSO) at Aarhus University. Through the Masterclass, candidates and supervisors are provided training and support for all aspects of the proposal, including training webinars, feedback on the application text, and a formality check in the Funding & Tenders Portal. The focus of the Masterclass is on European Fellowships, but the RSO also supports Global Fellowship applications. We encourage all applicants with AU as their host to sign up for support. The deadline for signing up for the 2024 Masterclass is the 12th of April.

The call will open on the 10th of April in the Funding and Tenders Portal, and may change the call criteria described above. In case of any inconsistencies between the two versions, the Funding and Tenders Portal applies.
