Welcome to new research assistant Katia Soud in Prof. Tomonori Takeuchi's group

Katia Soud has recently joined Takeuchi’s group as a research assistant. She will be helping Mai Iwasaki and Prof. Tomonori Takeuchi in establishing optic-photometry protocol and behavior tests for memory and learning in relation to dopamine release in the hippocampus. She has a background in Pharmacy and pharmaceutical chemistry and she acquired her Masters degree in Human Biology program from Copenhagen University. Her thesis work was based on understanding the effect of Neuropeptide Y metabolites on memory and neuronal activity. Following to her study, she worked as a researcher in Copenhagen University-Department of neuroscience before joining Takeuchi’s group.
