Welcome to Kaho Itoh - New Research Assistant in Kitazawa Group

Welcome to Kaho Itoh, who started as a new Research Assistant in Kitazawa Group on 1 April. She will study the molecular mechanism regulating memory formation. Kaho shares: "Engram cells regulate recent and remote memory respectively in hippocampus and neocortical regions. I will investigate transcriptomic and epigenomic state changes during systems memory consolidation by performing bioinformatic analysis to unveil how engram cells achieve the spatiotemporal memory regulation."
