The aim of this traineeship is to establish a novel Amyotrophic Latera Sclerosis (ALS) disease model where the expression of different mutant SOD1 proteins could be reversibly regulated with a prokaryotic destabilization protein domain. The results obtained through the described research activities will lay the base for a possible application of an ALS therapeutic strategy based on a PROTAC induced degradation approach.
