Magnus Kjærgaard is awarded the Ascending Investigator Grant
DANDRITE affiliated researcher, Associate Professor, Magnus Kjærgaard is among the two recipients of the Ascending Investigator Grant awarded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
With the award follows a grant of DKK 10 million over the next five years.
With the grant, Magnus Kjærgaard will test whether a new type of cellular structures - membraneless organelles - can be used in biotechnology. The goal is to be able to make environmentally friendly natural compound for use in medicine.
Magnus Kjærgaard is from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics.
