New PhD student at DANDRITE

Josephine D. Nissen started as a PhD student in Poul Nissens group per 1 August 2016. Josephine will join projects focusing on the mechanism of autoinhibition of Plasma Membrane Calcium ATPase (PMCA) and how it affects resting calcium in e.g. neurons and performed through structural, biochemical and cell biological studies. Later on she will be working on higher order structural studies of neuronal membranes using cryo-electron tomography.
