Christian Vægter has been granted DKK 2.6 million from the Independent Research Foundation in Denmark to investigate the role of Schwann cell impairment in diabetic neuropathy. Christian will receive the grant over a 3 year period for the project dedicated to explore how Schwann cell derived exosomes impact on axonal homeostasis.
