Anne Kathrine Sørensen is new Research year student at Nykjær Group

Anne Kathrine Sørensen started as a research year student in Anders Nykjær’s group per 16 October 2017. For the next year, she will focus on the recently identified Multiple Sclerosis risk gene, SORCS3, studying the expression in the mouse brain, the connection to oligodendrocyte cell-linage, and the phenotype in KO mice. The aim is to characterize the potential multiple sclerosis risk gene and hopefully achieve a better understanding of the function of SorCS3 in Multiple Sclerosis.
