New research assistant at DANDRITE

Nádia Gonçalves started as a research assistant in Anders Nykjær's group, affiliated Christian Vægter’s group, on September 1, 2015. Nádia will be studying the molecular mechanisms underlying Schwann cell dysfunction and poor trophic support present in diabetic neuropathy.

DANDRITE director Poul Nissen awarded the international Gregori Aminoff Prize 2016

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the Gregori Aminoff Prize in crystallography 2016 to Professor Poul Nissen, Aarhus University. Poul Nissen is the first Dane to receive the Aminoff Prize.

New research intern at DANDRITE

Niels Kjærgaard Madsen, who started as an engineering intern in Anders’ group on September 1, 2015. Niels will be here for five months. In collaboration with Ulrik he will be working with optogenetics and electrophysiology, studying SorCS2 knockout mice with a depression-like behavior.
