11th Nordic EMBL Partnership Meeting in Aarhus

DANDRITE will host the 11th annual meeting of the Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine. The meeting will be held in Aarhus from 31 January - 3 February at DGI-Huset.

Attendees include group leaders, postdoctoral and senior researchers, PhD students and coordinators from all of the Nordic EMBL nodes, as well as representatives from EMBL.

The Nordic EMBL Partnership for Molecular Medicine is a major strategic player in Europe’s efforts towards understanding molecular mechanisms of disease. This is made possible by the complementary research expertise of its four nodes: 

  • FIMM (University of Helsinki, Finland)
  • NCMM (University of Oslo, Norway)
  • MIMS (Umeå University, Sweden)
  • DANDRITE (Aarhus University, Denmark)

Poster abstract submission

We will have a poster walk in the main meeting!

All participants are encouraged to present a poster during the poster walk sessions of the main meeting. If you wish to present a poster, please upload a title and an abstract of approx. 200-250 words. Feel free to pair/group up for this. The poster walk will be planned after the registration deadline, where we will find out how much time each will get for their presentation.”

  • Ensuring equality and diversity in science 
  • Conflict management – how to avoid/handle conflicts in one’s own research group or in collaborations 
  • Time management - when is it ok to say “no” to community requests (reviewing, conference organization etc.)
  • Imaging – single cells to whole animals (session theme)   
  • Big data/machine learning (session theme)
  • Experimental disease models from cells to animals (session theme) 
  • Behavioral models in Neuroscience – bottom-up and top-down strategies 
  • Preprint server (pros and cons, share experiences) 
  • Networking and establishing collaborations with industry and translational research 
  • Collaboration with clinicians 
  • Data visualization, interpretation and integration – pros and cons
