									<p>Dear Colleagues,&nbsp;</p>
<p>It is&nbsp;our&nbsp;pleasure to invite you to the 18<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;VBC PhD symposium “Building Bridges” on Thursday and Friday, <strong>4-5</strong> <strong>November 2021</strong>. It will be a great opportunity to enjoy scientific discoveries from all over the world and showcase&nbsp;your own multidisciplinary research.&nbsp;</p>
<p>With “Building Bridges” we want to put the diversity of life science in the spotlight and highlight the importance of interdisciplinarity in scientific research for our understanding of fundamental biological questions.&nbsp;Students will also be able to present&nbsp;their own projects and win prizes!&nbsp;</p>
<p>Due to the uncertain developments regarding COVID-19, the symposium will be held <strong>virtually</strong>. However, some speakers who do not need to travel from far away might be able to give their talk in person. We will keep you updated.&nbsp;</p>
