									<p>Dear all,</p>
<p>We are pleased to invite you to the next PACEx&nbsp;seminar on&nbsp;<strong>Thursday, 21<sup>st</sup>&nbsp;May 2026</strong>, where we have one of PACE's new group leaders, Noëmie&nbsp;Mermet-Joret joining us to talk about understanding vulnerability in limbic circuits. Noëmie&nbsp;obtained her PhD in Neuroscience&nbsp;from Université Clermont Auvergne&nbsp;and she has since been working as a postdoc and then as an assistant professor at the lab of Sadegh Navabi, where she&nbsp; focused on the synergy between innateness and learning and the mechanisms underlying memory. She has a solid technical background in electrophysiology, calcium imaging in-vivo, opto- and chemogenetic and she is now expending her skillset to transcriptomics. She has officially joined the Center on 1 May 2026.</p>
<p>Noëmie’s research will focus on&nbsp;<strong>neural&nbsp;circuitries in models of PD</strong>&nbsp;as to understand early neuronal change associated to a-syn aggregation and spreading.</p><div><p>Full seminar details are included below.
