Visiting researcher at DANDRITE

Vesna Makovsek started as visiting researcher in Mark Denham's group in mid January 2015, where she will be studying for 3 months. Vesna Makovsek will be working with culturing human induced pluripotent stem cells and directing their fate toward neural lineages. The title of her project is: Understanding the molecular pathways involved in the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells into neural lineages". After successfully complete an Erasmus program at DANDRITE in 2014, Master student Vesna Makovsek has been awarded a recruitment scholarship from Aarhus University. These scholarships are offered to support and recruit talented students to Aarhus Univeristy as an introduction to starting a PhD.
