Stella Nolte is new postdoc in Phillipsborn Group

Stella started in Anne's group per April 18th. She is interested in the neuronal mechanistic processes of behavior control. Using the Drosophila courtship behavior as model, she is aiming at cell- and transmitter specific resolution of pathways in the generation of behavioral output. She is furthermore interested in the molecular pathologic processes of neurodegeneration and focusing on α-synuclein induced pathogenesis and associated behavioral syndrome. The methodological approach encompasses cell-specific genetic manipulations, behavioral assays and microscopic analyses.
