New research assistant at DANDRITE

Camilla Højland Knudsen started as research assistant on 15 June. She is working with the CRISPR Cas9 system for knock out and gene editing in human embryonic stem cells. She is developing a new method for comparing Cas9 target efficiency using a fluorescent on-switch. This method will be useful in fast and efficient creation of disease models and make it easier to investigate the effects of specific genes on developmental events and neural differentiation.
