BIOMEDICINE SEMINAR by DANDRITE Group Leader Mark Denham
Mark Denham presents the work of his research group: “Identifying disease susceptibility variances in Parkinson’s disease with human induced pluripotent stem cells”. It is possible to sign-up for a free sandwich before 3 March. Registration for the seminar itself is not required. The lecture lasts 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of discussion.

Conference on Gender Balance: "How do we improve gender balance amongst researchers at AU?"
The committee for research and external cooperation at Aarhus University invites leaders at all levels, scientific personnel, HR management, advisors and students to a one-day conference to discuss the key question: How do we improve gender balance amongst researchers at AU? The conference will take place on Friday, March 8th 2019 from 10-17. The aim of the conference is to develop ideas for new actions, which can be taken forward by management and employees to help improve the issues regarding gender balance. Registration deadline: 26. Graduate Neuroscience Course
The aim of the course is to present participants a state-of-the-art overview of key concepts and applications within all areas of basic and clinical neuroscience. Criteria for participation: University degree in medicine, dentistry, nursing, or Master’s degree in other fields and/or postgraduate research fellows (PhD students and research-year medical students). Deadline for registration: 11 February 2019.
